Key Responsibilities Deliver FDA-cleared treatments with precision and care Educate patients on procedures, post-treatment expectations, and long-term care Document treatments accurately using clinic software systems Collaborate with your Location Director and Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs) to optimize schedules and maintain seamless clinic operations Rotate across 2–3 local clinics with a designated home location Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the LaserAway brand standard Work Schedule Clinics are open 7 days a week Must be available for 5–6 weekend shifts per month Schedules are published two weeks in advance Training Program Paid onboarding program with virtual, in-clinic, and self-paced learning Starts with core treatments and gradually expands across our full service menu Training pay: $20/hour during hands-on learning sessions Full clinical rate begins after initial sign-offs What You Bring Active RN, NP, or PA license in the state of employment (required) Minimum 1 year of hospital-based nursing experience required (excluding nursing school clinical rotations). This position is not open to new graduates; applicants must have post-graduate clinical experience in a hospital or similar acute care setting. The team of over 30 Perianesthesia specialty nurses provide dynamic and compassionate care for a wide variety of adult patients following anesthesia. The preoperative care area prepares patients for surgery, assures their readiness, and provides preoperative teaching for patients and their families. Our postoperative area cares for patients recovering from a wide variety of surgeries and procedures for the following services: general surgery, orthopedic oncology, breast, plastics, urology, gynecology (benign and oncology), radiation oncology, head and neck, colorectal and endoscopy. The priority postoperatively is to physiologically stabilize patients, provide innovative pain management strategies, and integrate family-centered care. Once the patient is stable and awake, family members are encouraged to rejoin the patient. An interdisciplinary team of nurses, surgeons, specialty physicians, anesthesiologists, pain service physicians, and respiratory therapists work to initiate the recovery from surgery continued in the inpatient or outpatient setting. The Perianesthesia nurses work collaboratively with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and other members of the interdisciplinary team while under the support of the Unit Director and Assistant Unit Director.
