A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available in Seattle, WA, providing one-on-one nursing support within a school setting. This contract position involves direct care for a kindergarten student with specialized medical needs, including vent and trach support.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing care to a kindergarten student throughout the school day, managing vent and trach needs.
- Provide bus support for the students transportation to and from school.
- When the student is absent, assist with nursing duties in the health room or support other students within the district.
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate closely with school personnel and caregivers to ensure student well-being.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Washington State.
- Experience in pediatric nursing and familiarity with vent/trach care preferred.
- Ability to work onsite full time, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to a school environment.
