BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at Mease Countryside Hospital.

The RN Responsibilities Include

  • Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
  • Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
  • Professional accountability and development.
  • Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
  • Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications

Certifications and Licensures:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
  • RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
  • ACLS Certification is required
  • Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

Education

  • Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

  • 2 years of RN experience is required.
  • 1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency is preferred

Job Summary and Qualifications As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include managing airway support, closely monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding promptly to any complications or side effects.
