Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care. Shifts Available: Full-Time | AM | Shifts: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday with once per month on-call shift rotation. Expected starting wage range is $29.93 - $36.98. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. What You Bring to the Table (Must Have) Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program and current licensure Current CPR/BLS certificate Must be at least 18 years of age Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. How you will make a difference: The LVN / LPT provides direct client care including the administration of medications and supervising nursing activities performed by professional and para-professional nursing personnel on the unit. Duties include Ordering, preparing, administering, and documenting the administration of medication for clients according to physicians’ orders. Confirming delivery of all ordered medication from the pharmacy on shift worked. Communicating pertinent information verbally and in writing to all team members. Responsible for writing a weekly summary on the client as assigned. Monitoring and maintaining appropriate nursing documentation in the medical record for the shift worked.
