$72,487.00 - $94,233.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
Plays a critical role in promoting health and wellness. Focuses on preventative care, health education, and wellness coaching to encourage healthy lifestyles and improve overall well-being. Through screenings, consultations, and wellness programs, the RN empowers individuals to take an active role in managing their health, reducing the risk of chronic diseases, and achieving personal health goals. Contributes to creating a culture of health, positively impacting the quality of life for participants.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Conducts health assessments, including vital signs, biometric screenings, and risk factor evaluations, in various settings, such as corporate wellness programs, clinics, or community health fairs. Provides individualized wellness coaching and health counseling, focusing on lifestyle modifications, such as diet, exercise, stress management, and smoking cessation. Develops and leads health promotion activities, wellness challenges, and educational workshops on topics such as nutrition, fitness, mental health, and chronic disease prevention.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including fitness specialists, dietitians, and mental health professionals, to create and implement personalized wellness plans. Monitors the progress of participants and provides ongoing support, adjustments to wellness plans, and follow-up care as needed.
- Maintains accurate and confidential health records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Assists in the development of wellness programs tailored to the needs of specific populations, including corporate employees, seniors, or community members.
- Acts as a resource and advocate for health and wellness, connecting participants with additional health services or specialists as necessary. Stays current with trends in health promotion, wellness strategies, and evidence-based practices to continuously improve program offerings.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in nursing and 2 years of relevant experience required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of wellness principles, chronic disease prevention, and lifestyle interventions required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and engage participants in wellness activities required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage wellness programs required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in New York State (NYS) upon hire required
- Certifications in health coaching, wellness, or holistic nursing preferred
