The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Job Summary

Provides professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.

Essential Functions

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.

Qualifications

Education

  • Accredited School of Nursing Required: Nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Additional Education Preferred: acute care perinatal nursing

Experience

  • Minimum one year Required: acute care nursing experience within the last four years.
  • Perinatal experience is preferred. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Credentials

  • Required: Registered Nurse
  • Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support
  • Required: NRP within 12 months of hire or transfer date
  • Preferred: NRP and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
