PeaceHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department in a Per Diem, Day role in Cottage Grove, Oregon. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care in a supportive, mission-driven environment where collaboration, respect, and compassion are at the core of everything we do. Hourly range is $50.89-$76.33, depending on experience. Per diem differential, as well.

What You’ll Do
- Provide professional, direct patient care following unit and professional practice standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
- Document care thoroughly and accurately
- Direct and delegate care to team members based on competence and scope
- Participate in safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention initiatives
- Maintain and advance your own professional competence through education and development
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- One year of nursing experience preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
- ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
- Strong ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development
- Commitment to positive patient- and family-centered care
- Effective interpersonal communication and team collaboration
- Ability to understand and support medical center policies
- Basic computer proficiency
