Summary

Ensures the efficient and effective daily business and clinical operations of the Health Services Center. Collaborates with Population Health leadership in the development, coordination, and monitoring of the care coordination of the student and employee population of the CSU community. Ensures the provision of nursing care for the assigned patient population. Leads the daily operations of the Health Services Center. Provides a high level of personal attention and exceptional care to ensure patients can successfully navigate Health Services Center and the healthcare system to fulfill their healthcare needs through strong communication and service. Delivers high-quality, high-touch primary care and care coordination in conformance with approved and recognized nursing standards of care, recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and administrative policy. Builds trusted relationships with patients, manages care plans, and performs patient outreach. Supports the Health Services Center care team’s decision-making process, participates in care team meetings, and generally coordinates the clinical and auxiliary services to deliver exceptional patient experience. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications

Required:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.

Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.

2 years of healthcare experience as an RN, preferably in primary care, outpatient care, urgent care, or emergency medicine.

EMR knowledge and experience.

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred

BSN

Certification in a relevant nursing field.

Knowledge of Epic EMR.

Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to lift 250-300 pounds with assistance. Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products Ability to use the computer.
