Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are organized and available.
Conduct basic laboratory tests and manage the handling of specimens for analysis.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation in compliance with health regulations.
Schedule appointments and facilitate effective communication within the office.
Educate patients regarding treatment options, medication usage, and effective skincare practices.
Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked with medical supplies.

High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for positive patient interactions.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail, especially in a busy healthcare setting.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and standard office software is beneficial.
