Adheres to established formularies for therapeutic regimens and utilizes established procedures for admission, transfer, and specialty consultant referrals. Assumes responsibility and accountability for individual judgments and actions, while supporting standards of psychiatric care and providing input into committees and meetings as requested. Additional Details Minimum 4 shifts per month. Must have minimum 1 year experience as a psych NP for PRN roles Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduation from an accredited nurse practitioner program. Experience Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Psychiatric experience preferred and/or experience in a residential healthcare institution. Licenses/Certifications Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice highly desired. Must maintain CPR certification, and any other certifications (such as First Aid) required by contract.
