Staff Nurse II - Cath Lab - Per Diem - 10-hour variable Days

Salary Range: $87.66 - $116.86 plus applicable per diem differential

Summary of Duties: As part of a multidisciplinary team, provide care to cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology and neuro patients in the Cath Lab. Hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and sedation administration during invasive procedures.

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • BSN preferred. 

License(s)/certification(s)

  • Current CA RN license, AHA ACLS, BLS required.
  • Preferred CCRN, CEN or RCIS certification.
  • Proficient in IV starts and EKG interpretation.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience and 1 year Vascular Imaging (Cath Lab) experience required.
  • Moderate Sedation

Special skills/abilities

  • Strong Cardiac background.
  • Ability to stand long periods with Lead aprons.
  • Sedation competency.
  • Ability to hold femoral artery pressure for 30 mins.
  • Ability to support face paced interventional lab.
  • Experience in Cardiac IR, Vascular IR, Interventional Radiology, Neuro Interventional procedures. Role(s) circulate, monitor and pre/post area.
