AsaX-ray Tech, you will: 

  • Takevital signs,collectinglab specimens,performingEKG’s, andadministeringIM injections. 
  • Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders andupdatespatient charts accordingly. 
  • Collectpatient history anddocumentingEHR appropriately. 
  • You mayapply splints,dressingsand bandages. 
  • Assistwith check-in/check-out whenneededincluding auditing charts. 
  • Maintainrecords and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs. 
  • Keeppatients and visitors informed of clinic progress. 

You should have: 

  • 1+yearof clinical experience in a patient care setting ishelpful. 
  • Experience using an EHR system isbeneficial.  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent isrequired. 
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) isrequired. 
  • General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT), Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT), or Non-Registered Technician (NCT) license isrequiredin state of residency. 
  • Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred. 
  • Current BLS Certification isrequiredwithin30 daysof start. 
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
