Key Responsibilities:

Deliver dialysis treatments and monitor patient status
Assess, troubleshoot, and respond to clinical situations
Educate patients and build meaningful relationships
Work as part of a supportive care team

Qualifications:

Current RN license in state of practice
CPR certification and basic EKG interpretation
2+ years’ experience with acutely ill patients (ICU, ER, Med/Surg preferred)
Strong assessment, time management, and communication skills
CNN certification a plus

We are seeking a second Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee administrative operations and provide leadership and oversight to the nursing staff at our 42-bed skilled nursing facility in Gardner, KS. Our facility consists of one SNF separated into two distinct buildings. This position will serve as the DON for one of the two buildings, as the other already has a DON in place. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility and well-versed in both federal and state regulatory requirements. They will ensure nursing staff are properly trained in delivering high-quality care, that the facility is staffed appropriately, and that compliance is maintained at all times. We are looking for an energetic, strong leader who can balance compassion with authority and set clear, professional boundaries with both staff and residents. Responsibilities: Train, mentor, and educate all nursing staff. Plan, coordinate, and lead nursing in-services and hands-on skill competencies.
