PCA/HHA Overview: Resident Care Aide - Personal Care Aide (PCA) team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing personal care support. This position is responsible for meeting the physical and emotional needs of residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse ensuring that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times. Responsibilities Resident Care Aide - Home Health Aide (HHA): Ability to assist residents with Daily Living Activities as needed that may include meal assistance, grooming, medication management, showering, dressing/undressing, toileting, skin care. Ability to use hands, arms and fingers in repeated motions that include ability to feel or operate objects, tools, or controls including grasping and turning motions. Ability to move and walk quickly and steadily in an emergency situation. Ability to assist with wheelchair transport of resident(s).
