Looking for a meaningful way to start a healthcare career? The Foundation Health Partners CNA Trainee Program is a paid, full-time training opportunity for 10 individuals who want to care for others and grow their future in healthcare. Trainees learn in a supportive environment while building foundational patient care skills and contributing to a compassionate long-term care setting. Program Details
This is a temporary training position for the duration of the program. Trainees learn the foundations of patient care under the guidance of licensed professionals. Participants are expected to remain employed with Foundation Health Partners for at least 1 year after completing the program. Most CNA Trainees are placed at Denali Center following training. While CNA roles may be available in other Foundation Health Partners departments, placement outside of Denali Center cannot be guaranteed

Responsibilities
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire, and is included in CNA coursework.
Requires proficiency in all competencies including end of life care, Alzheimer’s, and Dementia within first six (6) months of hire. Demonstrated ability to float to other areas of the facility is required within the first six (6) months of hire.
Must possess excellent organizational skills, as well as effective human relations and communication skills.
Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy and keyboarding skills is required.
As is typical in this industry, variable shifts and hours, and on-call duties may be required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
