The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, providing direct patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You'll work alongside top cardiologists and a collaborative team, playing a crucial role in improving patient outcomes.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Patient Advocate: Assess, educate, and prepare patients for complex cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Critical Monitor: Continuously monitor vital signs, EKG, and hemodynamic parameters during procedures, responding swiftly and effectively to changes or emergencies.
- Procedural Expert: Assist cardiologists as a circulating or scrub nurse, managing critical equipment, administering medications, and maintaining a sterile field.
- Post-Procedure Care: Skillfully monitor patients post-procedure, manage access sites, and provide comprehensive discharge education to ensure a smooth recovery.
- Emergency Responder: Act quickly and decisively in emergent situations, utilizing your ACLS expertise.
- Team Player: Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate from an accredited RN program and Minimum of 3 years of experience within a critical care area as an RN, upon hire and
- Minimum of 2years current cardiac care experience and
- Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Preferred
- Bachelors Of Arts
- Member of a Professional Organization
