Seven Hills Pediatric Center is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department and oversee all facets of clinical services and programming. This role is central to ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and a supportive environment for both residents and staff. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to person-centered care in a pediatric long-term care setting.

 

Pay: $124,800 - $143,520 per year

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring alignment with Seven Hills’ mission and goals
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and improvement programs
  • Oversee budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation for nursing services
  • Support staff development, performance management, and shared governance initiatives
  • Collaborate with other department heads and healthcare professionals to enhance resident care
  • Facilitate effective communication and teamwork across clinical teams
  • Develop and evaluate standards of nursing care tailored to pediatric populations
  • Represent the nursing department in intra-agency and community relations
 

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Master’s degree in nursing (preferred); graduation from an accredited nursing program required
  • Experience: 5–10 years of nursing practice, with progressive leadership and managerial experience
  • License: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Certifications: CPR/First Aid required; MAP certification preferred
  • Driver’s License: Standard Class C or D license required
