- Assessment: Performs appropriate history and physical assessment upon admission and on an ongoing basis, per facility policy.
- Planning: In conjunction with the patient and family, develops individualized patient plan of care based on nursing diagnosis. Identifies short and long term goals including discharge planning consistent with individualized patient care.
- Implementation: Evaluates and documents the patient/family response to nursing interventions related to the stated goals and the overall effectiveness of the care plan. Revises plan of care based on evaluation and individualized patient care needs.
- Evaluation: Evaluates and documents the patient and family response to nursing interventions related to the stated goals and the overall effectiveness of the care plan. Revises plan of care based on evaluation and individualized patient care needs.
- Utilizes the nursing process to identify and meet educational and discharge needs of the patients.
- Identifies changes in patient’s condition and intervenes appropriately
Job Requirements
Required
- Labor and Delivery: Registered Nurse with (1) year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Registered Nurses with (1) year of acute care work experience will be considered on an individual basis
- intermediate fetal monitoring
- Registered Nurse: CA RN
- Basic Life Support - CPR BLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS, within 90 Days
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program NRP, within 90 Days
