Excelcare at Norwood is seeking an RN Unit Manager that is a clinical leader who sets the tone for exceptional resident care. This role drives quality outcomes by leading and mentoring nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong clinical standards on the unit. The RN Unit Manager is hands-on, proactive, and deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for residents, families, and the care team.

Responsibilities of an RN Unit Manager:

• Provides 24-hour clinical oversight and accountability for the assigned unit
• Ensures timely incident reporting, follow-up, and regulatory compliance
• Oversees resident care to support optimal clinical and psychosocial outcomes
• Participates in QAPI activities and required reporting
• Communicates significant condition changes to physicians and families
• Conducts daily rounds to ensure safety, infection control, and care standards
• Provides hands-on clinical support, including medication administration as needed

Requirements of RN Unit Manager:

• A valid RN license in the state of NJ

• Unit Manager experience in a skilled nursing / long term care setting

• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
