Job Summary
A premier skilled nursing and healthcare center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support nursing leadership and promote high-quality, resident-centered care. This key leadership role partners closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and clinical oversight to nursing staff
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, implement, and enforce nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and facility policies
- Assist with survey preparedness, plan of correction development, and ongoing compliance monitoring
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff to promote professional growth and accountability
- Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling, and assignment of nursing personnel
- Promote a positive, respectful work environment that supports teamwork and open communication
- Maintain effective relationships with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents, families, and community partners
Qualifications
- RN or LPN license in good standing in the State of Illinois
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in long-term care or acute care
- Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
