Beacon Behavioral Partners is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) to fill a Full Time opening that will be supporting The Nexus Group in Pittsburgh, PA. The hours are standard work hours, with no calls required on weekends or evenings. We are a lean, digital office with a great support staff, allocating ample time for appointments and follow-ups.

Responsibilities 
Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)  

Perform complete initial psychiatric assessments/evaluations and determine diagnosis and treatment plan.
Provide follow up care and consultations to patients.
Prescribe medications and collaborates with the supervising psychiatrist in case management
Utilize specific electronic medical record system and other digital tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in patient record documentation and management.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Requirements for this position:

1 year Experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Additional experience in a private practice facility is desirable
An unconditional license (also known as a license without restriction) to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as CRNP or PA
Registration with the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to prescribe controlled substances without sanction, restriction or limitation.
Current CPR certification is required

Obtain and maintain clearances below:

Act 33 Clearance (PA Child Abuse Clearance)
Act 73 Clearance (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History)
Act 34 Clearance (PA Criminal Record Check)

Physical Demands:   

This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination.
