St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, is a 188-bed facility that provides exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding counties. With more than 220 pediatric experts on staff, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children combines topnotch pediatric care with a wide array of pediatric specialties, including Cardiology; Ear, Nose and Throat; Gastroenterology; Oncology; and Orthopedics. It houses the only Pediatric Burn Center between New York City and Baltimore and is one of only three Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania. Job Description Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Trainee to join our CICU team! The advanced practice provider (APP) trainee will function as a learner and in a supportive role in the cardiac intensive care unit and cardiac step-down unit. This provider must work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in all phases of practice. Mentored clinical practice experiences will occur in the acute care setting. The APP Trainee will gain experience within a specialty practice and progress from a learner status to a credentialed member of the Interdisciplinary team within nine months of their start date. The candidate must be a graduate of a pediatric nurse practitioner, CRNA, or physician assistant program.
