Position Overview:

Responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of vocational nursing. The Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care.

Education Qualifications:

Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Practical Nursing

Certification Qualifications:

Required: License to practice in the State of Illinois
Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
Required: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training course (CPI) required within 1 month of hire date

Experience Qualifications:

Previous experience preferred
New Graduates welcome
Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and excellent communication skills required.
Requires physical stamina and emotional stability
