A Registered Nurse (RN) with Illinois licensure is needed to support the health needs of elementary school students in a health room setting. This contract position is based in Waukegan, IL, and requires availability for 8 hours each Thursday during the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care and health assessments to elementary-aged children in the school health room
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintain detailed health records and communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
Ensure a safe, healthy school environment by promoting wellness and responding to emergencies

Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
Prior experience working with children in a school or pediatric care setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a school health room environment
