Schedule: Full-Time | No Nights, No Weekends

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team serving the Lehigh Valley area. This role provides hands-on, comfort-focused care to hospice patients in their homes and other care settings, supporting dignity, comfort, and quality of life at the end of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Measure and document vital signs as appropriate

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and safety

  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the hospice nurse

  • Offer emotional support and compassionate presence to patients and families

  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment

  • Follow individualized plans of care established by the interdisciplinary team

  • Accurately document care provided in accordance with hospice policies and regulations

  • Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and comfort at all times

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania (required)

  • Previous hospice, home health, or long-term care experience preferred

  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

  • Strong communication and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently in the field

  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
