In-Home Caregiver (HCA, CNA, or HHA) — South Bay

Role & Responsibilities

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will assist clients with activities of daily living, which may include:
• Dementia and cognitive support
• Personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene)
• Mobility assistance and transfers
• Medication reminders
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Transportation to appointments or errands
• Companionship and engagement

Qualifications

  • Education: High school graduate, or G.E.D. certificate preferred

  • HCA Registration - Home Care Aide Application Process
    • CNA or HHA certification (preferred but not required)
    • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
    • Ability to lift and transfer up to 25 lbs
    • TB test
    • Reliable transportation within the South Bay area

Ideal Candidate Background

• 1+ year of caregiving experience
• Professional, reliable, and patient

• Experience with Dementia, Parkinson’s, or post-hospital care is a plus
• Enjoys consistent client relationships and continuity of care
