This position is Full-Time working 4 10-hour shifts a week– No weekends, no nights and no holidays!

Job Requirements:

Active NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license
1 year experience working with pediatrics
CPR and BLS certifications are required

Job Responsibilities may include:

Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician.
Managing all medical emergencies with the assistance of the RN/DON
Alerting the nursing director about changes in the child’s medical status, the beneficial or untoward
Coordinating the services provided by other staff to meet the mutually identified health care and psychosocial needs of the child.
Providing health education to the child’s guardian.
Serving as an advocate to assist the child’s guardian in resolving problems.
Serving as an advocate to the child. Insuring the child’s safety both at school and home.
Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting as necessary.
Participate in all inspections as well as all necessary preparations for surveys. This includes chart audits as well as performance improvement checklist.
