As a Certified Nurses Aid at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, you play a critical role in the care of our residents. You are committed to the highest level of care responsible for the delivery of resident care (baths, personal grooming, feeding) Turn or reposition residents who are bedridden, taking residents vital signs and recording fluid and meal intake and output. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety. Strives to incorporate the facility’s goal of quality care in a personal manner with total regard for all our resident’s dignity. General Description of the Job Class The Nursing Assistant (NA) is a patient care support partner with the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and performs work as delegated by the RN or LPN. The NA provides direct care to patients and assists with non-direct patient care unit coordination. The individual in this position is expected to perform basic care and comfort standards as well as have knowledge of the patient population needs in the assigned work area. In addition, the NA is expected to assist the RN in the care of acutely ill patients.
