Position Summary

The High-Pay Weekend RN Supervisor provides clinical leadership during daytime weekend shifts. This role oversees nursing operations, supports staff, collaborates with providers, and ensures safe, compliant resident care in a smaller-facility setting.

This position is ideal for experienced RNs seeking top regional pay, predictable weekend-only hours, and a lower census environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision

  • Supervise nursing staff and oversee resident care during weekend shifts

  • Assign staffing and manage workflow for safe care delivery

  • Act as the on-site clinical leader and decision-maker

Resident Care & Coordination

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

  • Address resident needs and support families as needed

  • Promote compassionate, resident-centered care

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure infection control and medication administration compliance

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

  • Protect resident confidentiality and regulatory standards

  • Verify emergency equipment readiness

Team Communication

  • Maintain effective communication across departments

  • Participate in shift handoffs and leadership reporting

Qualifications

  • Active New York State RN license

  • Minimum 2 years nursing experience (LTC or med/surg preferred)

  • Minimum 1 year supervisory or charge nurse experience

  • Strong leadership, organization, and clinical judgment
