Position Overview:
Our assisted living facility in New York State is seeking a qualified LPN or RN Supervisor to join our leadership team. This full-time position is ideal for a nurse who values teamwork, quality care, and a resident-centered approach. The Supervisor will be responsible for supporting and guiding direct care staff while ensuring that our community operates in full compliance with all applicable state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise resident care aides to ensure high-quality service delivery
Create and manage staff schedules to maintain adequate coverage
Oversee medication management and administration procedures
Assist in training and mentoring of new and existing direct care staff
Ensure compliance with all New York State Department of Health regulations
Participate in on-call rotation to address urgent needs

Qualifications:

Current LPN or RN license in the State of New York
At least 1–2 years of nursing experience required; supervisory experience preferred
Previous experience in an assisted living or long-term care environment strongly preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of medication administration standards and state regulations

Rochester Regional Health offers a full range of Dialysis treatment options to patients with chronic kidney disease. We treat adults from people from multiple backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities. We care for patients temporarily, either their kidney function recovers or they return to their home dialysis center, move or get a transplant; or some are with us on an ongoing basis. Patients have dialysis treatment anywhere from 2-3 days a week, from 3 to 5 hours each treatment. Our staffing model consists of RN’s, LPN’s and Techs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts and documents a thorough assessment of each patient’s medical status upon admission and throughout the patient’s course of treatment. Assists in the implementation of the patient’s treatment plan under the direction of the RN. Complies with the evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines of the department.
