Key Areas of Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Human Resources Management:
    • Hire, develop and manage the performance of staff.
    • Responsible for talent management of staff and identify succession plan strategies.
    • Follow and apply leave management policies.
    • Knowledgeable of and implement human resources policies/procedures and provisions in the collective bargaining agreements.

    • Monitor and maintain clinical operating budget within specified targets.

  • Customer Relations, Communication, Collaboration:
    • Review patient satisfaction data and collaborate with clinical leadership to develop, implement, and evaluate plan(s) to enhance patient satisfaction.

Schedule: Full time, Work hours are typically Monday – Friday between 8 am – 5 pm (1 hour meal break). Scheduled work hours will vary to support staffing needs and program operations before 8 AM or after 5 PM as needed.

Education Or Equivalency Required

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field. If Master’s Degree is in related field, Baccalaureate in Nursing is required.
    • If qualified applicant does not have Master’s Degree, the applicant will need to complete an advanced degree in nursing, health care administration, or business administration within five years of beginning this position.
  • Current license to practice nursing in Iowa or ability to obtain an Iowa license by date of hire is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Considerable (3-5 years) experience in leadership/management roles to include prior experience working with regulatory bodies and survey readiness/negotiations is required.
  • Proficiency with computer software applications (such as Microsoft programs).

  • Expertise and knowledge for coaching and mentoring team members to reach their highest potential.
  • Membership/involvement in professional organizations.

Staff Development & Onboarding Participate in hiring and onboarding new clinical team members. Assign preceptors and support onboarding milestones. Serve as a certified clinical mentor. Required Qualifications: Current licensure as LPN or RN (preferred) or certification as MA/ST (minimum). ACLS certification required. At least 2 years of clinical experience. Previous leadership or cosmetic medical office experience is a plus. Strong understanding of infection control, standard precautions, and clinical compliance. Consistent and reliable attendance required. Preference to have Post Op and/or OR Circulator experience. Not required, will train on job.
