Position Summary

Advanced Practice Provider specializing in comprehensive women's health care, including the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders affecting women such as abnormal uterine bleeding, enlarged fibroid uterus, infertility, and abnormal pap smears. This APP also provides care throughout adulthood including pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and beyond.Responsibilities • Provide prenatal and postpartum care and support. • Conduct routine exams such as pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams • Consultation and treatment related to irregular menses, hormone disorders, fertility and family planning, sexual transmitted disease and menopausal related conditions. • Referral to other OB/GYN physicians and/or healthcare specialists for additional diagnosis, health related screenings, and further evaluation-based treatment. • Prescribe and administer medications or therapies to treat disease or injury. • Order radiologic imaging or labs as indicated. • Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Requirements • Completion of accredited NP, PA-C, or CNM program • Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment • Must maintain active ARNP, PA-C, or CNM licensure throughout employment • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association. • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills. • Compassionate bedside manner and ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $163,000.00 - $171,000.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. Responsibilities NP will be responsible for care of maximum of 8-9 pts a day. NP will be responsible each day for a maximum of two new intake evaluations and treatment plan for new patients each day. These evaluations will be attested by medication director at completion of each assessment documentation. NP will be responsible for treatment plan and reviewing all collateral information and communication with the families and outpatient teams for each patient day of or within the first 24-48 hours. NP will also be responsible for at least 1-3 discharges a day of any patients deemed appropriate for discharge or other circumstances i.e. parent or patient withdrawing from treatment and will be responsible for communicating the stature of discharge i.e. voluntary discharge, discharge against medical advice or administrative discharge. NP will be responsible for following up on all the remainder of their patients on their case load for the day and document the progress updates. All efforts to be made by NPs to reach out and communicate with families, care givers and outpatient teams at the start and during the treatment course up until discharge. NP will put in admission orders or review and make corrections as per their evaluations, will order baseline and follow up laboratory blood work as deemed necessary and follow up on reports and communicate with patient and family. The department supports a residency program, four fellowship programs, including Gynecologic Oncology, and is a major teaching site for UW medical students. This is a full-time, 12 month (July 1 - June 30) academic position on a yearly appointment with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.
