Description

Regularly participates in hospital call coverage, rounding, and documentation support with neurosurgery physicians; as well as provides support for clinic patients in the ambulatory setting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program:
  • Texas Registered Nurse license AND Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse recognition through Texas Board of Nursing
  • 24 hr Neurosurgery trauma call required, 1:6
  • Previous Neurosurgery experience preferred but not required
