Summary

MaineHealth Primary Care - Damariscottais seeking a Telehealth Registered Nurse. The Telehealth RN is the primary point of contact for patients calling with clinical matters and practices nursing via the telephone using the nursing process and medical staff approved protocols. This is a hybrid role with one day per week onsite. Three to six months of onsite training required. Prior ambulatory care experience preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: Two years of nursing experience in a medical facility required.

Description MaineHealth - Pen Bay and Waldo Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife. The successful candidate will join the regional Women’s Health practice serving our coastal Maine communities. Candidates will work alongside great support staff and seasoned providers. The regional Women’s Health office provides pregnancy care, conceptual and infertility counseling, care during and after pregnancy, gynecologic care such as treatment for abnormal bleeding, fibroids endometriosis. Our team also provides family planning services including birth control counseling and prescriptions. We offer preventive care including annual physical exams, screening for breast and cervical cancer, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections and breast care. We also provide services for menstrual problems, perimenopause and menopause treatment, breastfeeding support, incontinence treatment and sexual health counseling. Desired Qualifications And Experience BSN/MSN and successful completion of nurse midwifery program accredited by the ACNM.
