Nurse Supervisor- PRN Night Shift

 

Anchor Hospital specializes in the treatment of behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for teens, adults, and seniors. Anchor Hospital, in Atlanta, GA is located on a secluded 55 acre campus, less than three miles from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Nursing staff will be responsible for the care of Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients in the Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency units. Will attend hospital safety trainings.

Required to work 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. shift (PRN)

 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Effectively directs the activities of the inpatient units and evaluates the appropriateness and effectiveness of patient care during assigned shift or other established time frame and keeps the Chief Nursing Officer and other supervisors abreast of significant events or problems.
  • Plans, organizes, and assigns staff appropriately according to skill level and patient needs based on sound professional judgment and rationale. Coordinates flow of patients with Assessment Department for continuity in bed control.
  • Utilizes the nursing skills of assessment, diagnosis, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluation as appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current State of Georgia Registered Nurse License
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in related field required with current validation in area specific skills, charge nurse or previous management experience preferred.
