Responsibilities PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Regularly performs the duties and responsibilities of the Registered Nurse for patients of all age groups. When serving as Preceptor Nurse, serves as a role model and resource to the nursing staff. Also works with the manager and Nurse Clinician to ensure a well-planned and implemented orientation and training program for new employees. Identifies and recommends training needs of staff, and participates in developing new training programs. When serving as Charge Nurse, coordinates daily activities and distribution of work in specific area assigned.
