Job Overview

The Clinical Manager oversees the daily operations of a direct patient care department, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and quality standards. This role provides clinical leadership, guiding staff in delivering developmentally appropriate care and evaluating outcomes. The Clinical Manager supports quality and safety initiatives, contributes to organizational goals, and drives improvements in healthcare performance and patient experience. In collaboration with other healthcare leaders, the Clinical Manager fosters professional development, coaches for performance, and cultivates a positive environment for both team members and patients/families.

The Labor and Delivery department at the Colorado Fetal Care Center (CFCC) at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) offers perinatal care for expecting mothers with almost any fetal condition, regardless of how rare or critical. Located on the Anschutz Medical Campus, ours is one of the largest and most technologically advanced fetal care centers in the country. Our talented team of specialized MDs, Anesthesiologists, RNs, surgical technicians and sonographers are highly trained to provide a deep level of experience and expertise for a vast array of rare and complex conditions. As a nurse on our team, you will collaborate regularly with maternal fetal medicine specialists and neonatologists. Families cared for in the Colorado Fetal Care Center, who seek our expertise in congenital conditions and fetal anomalies, often transition to the NICU for care after birth, providing team members with unique opportunities to provide coordinated care to families facing rare diagnoses such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), bladder outlet obstruction, twin-to-twin transfusion and myelomeningocele. Specialized interventions provided in our NICU include Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), therapeutic hypothermia, and inhaled nitric oxide.
