Baptist Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator to join our Med/Surg Unit. This is a Full-Time Days position working 36 hours per week with shifts of 7:00am-7:00pm located at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Florida.

We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistant candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist RNs supporting in the care of patients. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Additional Responsibilities Include:
Patient activities of daily living
Maintaining a safe environment for patients
Collecting lab specimens
Intake and output monitoring
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Assists in patient admission, transfer and discharge procedures. Assist with handling and care of patient belongings and other personal property. Answers patient call lights, telephone, and paging system and responds as appropriate. Able to release, remove and reapply restraints to patient under the direction of an RN.
