Overview

JOB SUMMARY

This position encompasses the coordination of the clinical and operational functions of the unit on assigned shifts under the direction of the manager, through the coordination/delegation of patient care assignments and the supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff.

           MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Experience:  Has had a minimum of 6 months experience on his/her assigned unit and previous leadership, judgment, and problem-solving experience.

 

Knowledge and Skills:  Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Able to work in a fast-paced environment; and manage/prioritize/ complete work assignments and other duties, as assigned.  Demonstrated leadership skills through collaborative practice, demonstrated time management skills to the satisfaction of the director.

License/Certifications: Current nursing license, state of California.  Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card. 

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

 

PAY RANGE

$51.58 - $77.36

 

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change.  Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills.  For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
