Position Overview

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit:

UHS Walk-In Norwich

Work Shift and Schedule:

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range:

$21.80 - $32.60 per hour, depending on experience

This position is not eligible for benefits.

  • Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

  • Current New York State Practical Nurse License, a Limited Permit, or ability to practice within the 90 day grace period allowed by New York State guidelines

Preferred:

  • Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)
