In this rewarding role, you’ll provide skilled assessment, treatment, and prevention of wounds while working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest level of care.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform comprehensive wound assessments for new and existing residents
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized wound care treatment plans
  • Administer advanced wound care treatments, including dressing changes and infection prevention measures
  • Track healing progress and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and care techniques
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff for coordinated, quality care
  • Maintain accurate documentation for clinical and insurance requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
  • Proven experience in wound care; WCC certification preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of wound healing, infection control, and treatment protocols
  • Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented professional
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Additionally, the Hospice Branch Director supervises the staff, has knowledge of and manages documentation requirements, oversees service coordination and case management. The Hospice Branch Director must have excellent communication skills and the ability to execute an effective, supportive sensitive approach in response to needs of the employees and the patients and their families.
