Advanced Practice Provider – Gastroenterology

Southern NH Health is seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our expanding Gastroenterology team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient‑centered environment within a respected regional health system proudly affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital.

About the Opportunity

As an APP in our Gastroenterology department, you will work closely with experienced gastroenterologists, nurses, and support staff to deliver high‑quality outpatient and inpatient GI care. This role offers meaningful autonomy within a supportive, team‑oriented structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive GI evaluations, follow‑up visits, and chronic disease management
  • Perform and interpret GI‑related diagnostic assessments
  • Support inpatient consults and rounding as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide patient education and promote long‑term GI health
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department

Qualifications

  • Licensed NP or PA in the state of New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and patient‑engagement abilities
