Hartford-area successful Skilled Nursing Facility seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Night Shift to join our team.

Position is 11pm to 7am, Monday through Friday, with on call rotation.

Hourly pay: Up to $54 per hour and paid lunch. 

Bonus: $6,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

· Accountable for the administrative, clinical, and professional development of facility personnel for the designated shift.

· Coordinates, directs, and oversees all aspects of the delivery of nursing care.

· Demonstrates competence in leadership and relevant clinical experience.

· Collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals; complies with orders in a timely manner.

· Conducts unit rounds, ensuring that clinical practices are delivered within the facility's established standards of care.

· Maintains standards of care in accordance with regulatory agencies.

Must have strong clinical and supervisory skills, as well as previous long-term care experience.

The Registered Nurse Supervisor has strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, good follow through skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks are required.

The Registered Nurse Supervisor works as a team player with Nursing Staff to provide excellent clinical care and the Registered Nurse Supervisor must demonstrate a willingness to assist others.

Qualifications:

· Current CT Registered Nurse License.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work as part of a team, while managing multiple tasks in a safe and effective manner.

· Must be courteous and professional with an exceptional "bedside manner" have a high tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations

· Must have the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and clientele through sound business decisions, diplomacy and discretion.
