Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care and treatment in accordance with care plans
Supervise nursing assistants and delegate appropriate tasks
Accurately document all care, medications, and changes in condition
Admit, discharge, and transfer residents following facility protocols
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to ensure quality care
Participate in training, meetings, and facility inspections

Qualifications:

Valid Indiana RN license (Required)

Eligible for a Sign-On Bonus up to $15,000 The Hospice Registered Nurse plans, organizes, and directs the hospice care of patients in conjunction with the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team. The RN provides direct patient care with an emphasis on palliative care, provides education and support to families and caregivers. Completes an initial assessment of patient and family to determine hospice care needs. Regularly re-evaluates patient/family hospice needs. Develops care plan. Regularly re-evaluates patient/family hospice needs. Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
