Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care Baptist San Jose Pediatrics in Jacksonville, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.

 

This position is for the Baptist Primary Care San Jose Pediatrics office. This position is for back office. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as assisting new provider and administering vaccines. Must be comfortable working with children.

 

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Provides nursing assistance to physician
  • Obtains vital signs
  • Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
  • Maintains medical documentation
  • Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
  • Processes prescription requests and referrals
