Registered Nurse School Setting in Kerman, CA

A school nurse is needed to provide coverage and support at an elementary school in Kerman, CA. This contract position will help manage health services for the student population and assist with Initial IEPs at the preschool level. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through June 4, 2026, with approximately 16 hours per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing coverage during the absence of the current school nurse, including health assessments and managing student health needs.
  • Support the Initial Individualized Education Program (IEP) process for preschool students.
  • Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure compliance with health policies and student safety.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with a focus on school nursing.
  • Preferably hold a California School Nurse Services Credential; assistance with acquiring the credential is available if needed.
  • Experience working with children in school or educational settings.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Location: Onsite at an elementary school in Kerman, California.
