Position Overview

A major medical center in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced Travel OR Tech to join their night‑shift surgical services team. This role offers strong weekly pay, a consistent overnight schedule, and the opportunity to scrub into a wide range of complex surgical procedures. Ideal for a tech with strong clinical skills and confidence in high‑acuity specialty cases.

Requirements

2 years of recent OR Tech experience
Current BLS
NBSTSA (CST) or NCCT (TS‑C) certification
Experience scrubbing total joints, neuro, transplant, and vascular cases
Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and OR workflow

Responsibilities

Scrub for a variety of surgical procedures including ortho, neuro, transplant, and vascular
Prepare and maintain sterile fields
Assist surgeons with instrumentation, equipment, and procedural needs
Anticipate surgical team requirements and ensure smooth case flow
Collaborate with RNs, anesthesia, and surgical staff
Follow all facility protocols and maintain accurate documentation
