Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant DON to support daily nursing operations
Supervise, mentor, and guide nursing staff to maintain high-quality resident care
Address staff concerns promptly and escalate issues as appropriate
Assist with staffing coordination and scheduling to ensure optimal coverage
Conduct staff evaluations, provide coaching, and support performance management
Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture
Participate in quality assurance initiatives, internal committees, and budget planning
Ensure accurate MDS documentation and assist with discharge planning
Provide compassionate, individualized care to residents and their families

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking abilities
