Job Description:
Synergy HomeCare of North McAllen is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) for a PRN / as-needed backup care position. This role is primarily to provide coverage when our regular caregivers request time off or when we receive occasional backup care requests from our partners.

Please note that this position does not offer guaranteed hours. Work is provided strictly on an as-needed basis. However, this position may lead to a permanent schedule in the future as we receive new clients.

This role is ideal for caregivers seeking flexible, supplemental work.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate in-home care to clients

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Follow care plans and company policies

  • Be available for occasional and/or short-notice shifts

Requirements:

  • Must be a certified CNA or HHA

  • Must be CPR certified

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Reliable transportation

  • Dependable, professional, and compassionate

  • Comfortable working in a PRN / on-call capacity
