Position Overview: The Clinical Director of Assisted Living is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring the highest quality of care for residents. Monitor daily labor hours with awareness of budgeted labor hours to maintain profitability. Ensure medical services are provided as required by regulation and that the physician component of the medical record is complete. As a member of the IDT team and to ensure the care and needs of our residents are met, you may be required to support our nursing care team members by working the floor (i.e. working a med cart, providing direct resident care, wound care, etc.) during critical staffing levels. Determine and regularly monitor Medicare and level of care status to maximize revenue generation; monitor Medicare utilization closely to ensure program guidelines are followed; prepare all medical record documentation necessary to submit with Medicare billing. Ensure safe working practices are developed and adhered to, and that care team members are knowledgeable in the use of equipment. Communicate with families and residents when issues arise; handle complaints and provide education regarding care, as needed.
